Course of training ESP® prevention and rehabilitation therapist – Training


To make good decisions during the physical therapy examination and / or treatment is background information – especially in the field of tissue physiology, wound healing, training and physiotherapy models – necessary.
This three-day basic course forms the basis of training for the education ESP rehabilitation / prevention therapist and serves as the basis for all other theme courses.


The therapist can take diagnostic and therapeutic decisions, both in rehabilitation and in terms of prevention after the course. The participant can communicate with colleagues, even with a medical background at a professional level. The participant can give patients and clients responsible and professional explanation in the diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive processes after this course.

The student knows the different cells in the connective tissue and their functions
The student knows the different components of the connective tissue and their function
The student knows the viscoelastic properties of the connective tissue and can implement these clinical

Wound healing

The student knows the various stages of wound healing and knows the clinical relevance of the phases

training physiology

The student learns the different rehabilitation circles in mobility, coordination, strength and endurance, and their use by patients

Physiotherapy models

The student learns different physiotherapy models as a basis for communication and therapy


Using peer feedback and feedback from the teacher during practice, control of learning objectives by casuistry. Repeating the scholar followed by a short self-reflection.

    Update and deepen the physiology of the different phases of wound healing (inflammation, proliferation and re-modulation)

    Introduction of different models of physiotherapy (ICF multidimensional load and carriability model, act theoretical model of Wimmers and de Vries)


Theory 70% (input units), the practice 30% (small groups)
In the first part of the day preparing the theoretical basis for the practice sessions. In practice, the different training methods are practiced. To gain more insight we are working with various practical assignments.
